The available record does not show a formal charge, hearing, vote, or completed enforcement action. It is better understood as a social and territorial condition placed on Jude's participation. Later messages by trolling and SockMonkeyyy refer to the exile as the reason Jude formed a separate nation and why other players joined him.
The exile became the founding dispute of The Empire and the Cat Hill–Empire Cold War. On 28 August, the broader group adopted a rule against future exile without agreement from both parties. That rule did not retroactively settle Jude's status, but it shows that the original decision was controversial.
