The Cat Hill cannon factory is a Create: Big Cannons workshop built by Shiby. The facility developed from Cat Hill's earlier artillery plans into a constructed workshop during 3-4 September 2026. Shiby initially described it as manually operated.[1]
Construction
Isaac helped excavate the lower levels of Shiby's base on 3 September and provided a drill. Shiby described the work as a cannon factory and discussed a mechanism intended to raise cannons to the surface. Isaac coordinated the position of an oil-machine pipe to avoid obstructing it.[2]
Sophia supplied andesite for the industrial work, reporting nine stacks and receiving Shiby's thanks.[3]
Demonstrations
On 4 September, Shiby demonstrated casting to visitors, then corrected a direction problem and continued troubleshooting. A later demonstration to catgirlfeet prompted a description of the machinery as an infinite cannon generator. Shiby said that a crane was still needed to move the products, and shortly afterward noted that a cannon had not yet been bored.[4]
Military role
The factory supplied Cat Hill's artillery development. Manufacturing progress did not by itself establish that the cannons had been mounted, deployed or fired in combat. The early political context is covered at Cat Hill-Empire Cold War.
