Opening and political division

Current world opens
The current world opens with a new map and initial modpack. The earliest preserved public Minecraft chat message is dated 23:06 UTC.[1]27 August, 02:11
Proposed exile of Jude
catgirlfeet says judethenoobs may participate on the condition that he live on an island in an arrangement compared with the exile of Napoleon.[2] In-game chat shortly afterward describes Jude as kill-on-sight, showing that the dispute had entered live play.[3]27 August, 02:55–03:18
Early Cat Hill identity and trade
The name “Cat Hill” appears in public Minecraft chat. Later messages advertise goods from Cat Hill Winery and state that trade with other nations is needed.[4]27 August, 20:29
Organization of the DPRCH Council
Shiby identifies a private group as the council of the Democratic People's Republic of Cat Hill. The council is described as a leaderless workers' council in which all members hold equal power.[5]28 August, 01:54
Draft non-aggression treaty
SockMonkeyyy circulates a Draft Non-Aggression Treaty between the DPRCH and “Jude's Nation.” The signature and date fields are blank.28 August, 02:36

A server poll closes with keep-inventory “On” receiving 67 percent of the recorded vote.30 August
Weapons development and technical mishap
Players continue cannon, missile, radar, and air-defense research. A cannon-related mishap is reported to have damaged part of the Empire base. The available discussion attributes it to technical error rather than deliberate attack.30 August, 03:14

Cat Hill electrical and storage development
Cat Hill develops electrical infrastructure and begins building an advanced Create storage system protected with SecurityCraft components. Shiby continues Create: Big Cannons work and uses Growery to cultivate and crossbreed cannabis.[14]31 August
Interim Cat Hill offices recorded
MadShib is recorded as Interim Chairman and catgirlfeet as Interim Minister of Industrial Labor. The council remains the DPRCH's collective governing body.[15]31 August, 00:41

High-impact spell incident
Players report that a “nuke” spell removed a large area and contributed to severe lag or crashes. The spell and related chunk-mining effects are later nerfed.[17]31 August, 06:50–07:14
In-game clarification of war and griefing rules
An in-game discussion asks whether a spell could be used against the Cat Hill capital. catgirlfeet says an unapproved attack would be griefing and grounds for a ban. A later exchange classifies theft as an act of war, while catgirlfeet says she does not want a war at that time.[18]31 August, 09:30
