Decision
At 02:11 UTC on 27 August, catgirlfeet said Jude could participate if he were exiled to an island. No formal vote, hearing, or written order is recorded. Public Minecraft chat twelve minutes later contains a statement by SockMonkeyyy that Jude was kill-on-sight, showing that the dispute had entered live play.[2]

Aftermath
Later messages by trolling and SockMonkeyyy refer to the exile as the reason Jude formed a separate nation and why other players joined him. The event became the founding dispute of The Empire and the Cat Hill–Empire Cold War. On 28 August, the broad group adopted a rule against future exile without agreement from both parties. The rule did not retroactively resolve Jude's status.
