The Create Server uses a changing modpack centered on Create. The archive records rapid experimentation with industrial systems, weapons, magic, movement, storage, and server-side quality-of-life features.
Industry
Recurring projects include factories, mines, automated farms, oil processing, power generation, storage networks, and rail transport. DPRCH planning on 29 August listed a manufactorum, mine, cannon factory, bunkers, and turrets as goals for the following week or two.[1]
Cat Hill's documented industrial expansion included a large windmill developed on 29–30 August. Electrical infrastructure and an advanced Create storage system followed on 30–31 August. SecurityCraft components were being installed to protect the storage works.[2]
Weapons
Create: Big Cannons was the basis for proposed artillery, airships, radar, autocannons, missiles, and defensive armor. Actual manufacturing remained under development. Several chats from 30 and 31 August concern a cannon lathe that did not work as expected. Shiby conducted most cannon experiments in a creative singleplayer world. No separate test server had been established. Discussion about moving experiments away from the survival server centered on general fairness after trolling and Patty argued that using creative mode for testing conferred an unfair advantage in a survival setting.[3]
Magic
The server's magic system was based on Ars Nouveau and related add-ons.[4] These mods were both popular and operationally disruptive. Public Minecraft chat records a high-impact spell described as a “nuke” removing a large area, followed by attempts to nerf it.[5] A poll to remove every magic mod failed, while narrower limits on specific spells remained under discussion. The term “nuke” refers to an in-game spell and is not a literal nuclear weapon.
Agriculture
Growery is a cannabis cultivation and crossbreeding mod developed by catgirlfeet. Shiby used it for an active breeding program alongside her industrial and defensive work.[6]
Reliability
The modpack changed repeatedly during the first week. Hosting migrations, network faults, crashes, mismatched pack versions, and server-side configuration changes produced frequent downtime. These incidents are documented as technical events unless the record shows deliberate misuse.
